new motor. think the clutch is stuck.

i get no reaction from the clutch arm, bikeguy joe said to pound on it with a hammer. did that and not much for results. how hard can i really pound on this and should i keep doing it until something gives.
 
Might use a wooden dowel a top the pin. Strike with the force of driving a large nail into a 2X4. Sometime you will hear a pop. Put it back together, adjust cable & ride.
 
I also did not say to Pound on the clutch arm.....The pin in the center of the sprocket, not the arm.

If you get those two mixed up, I feel bad for your woman...
