For those of you with experience doing business with DAX and their engines, would you please provide your thoughts for someone that is a prospective customer? And does anyone have experience with their warranty service?

I've bought a few things from Dax and never had any problems. Everybody here that has dealt with him has always had high praise for his service.

Best warranty service of ANY company I've ever seen and that's not just MB dealers. I guarantee you won't be disappointed with their service.

Duane, dax, is not just a seller but also an avid motorized bicycle rider/builder/innovator. When you ask for advice or help from him you get the correct information the first time and no run-around. Dax is a respected member and sponsor of this forum. Many satisfied customers here too.

What every one else has said and more. You really can't go wrong with Dax.

(Speaking of which, I have to call him. Need an engine and kit)

Just ordered again from Dax. I know my order will show up and be what I asked for. If there is any thing wrong at all, Duane would make it right. I have not found this to be true of a bunch of dealers. Just say'in

I'm new to the game as well and looking at various friction drive kits. I have heard good things about dax, I just wish he would give a release date for his friction drive.

As A newbie I have 48cc in a swhinn cross trainer that put together last summer im looking to build another one I have A schwinn sweet sport full suspension
Im looking to put rear mount motor but I am worried as to how they would handle
Compared to a in frame they look like there’s a high center of gravity and would handle
Poorly any help would be appreciated

Howdy Cig. I don't own a rack mount but have tried a couple and you do not in any way feel a difference between a rack mount and an in-frame. Other pluses are that the sound, vibes and exhaust are behind you. The one down side for me is I would want a center kick stand.

Can get these from a lot of places. I just happened to have that link saved.

Dax rocks! He has access to all sorts of MB stuff but won't sell junk. I respect that big time.

I am new to this forum so please excuse my ignorance. who is Dax and what company belongs to him. thank you

My experience with DAX is that you are not considered a customer until AFTER you buy something. I tried to ask a question once about a product they sell and got nothing. I bought the part anyway and was asked to rate the vendor. I did. I voiced my opinion of their customer service. Then was told via email that I wasn't a customer at the time as I hadn't bought anything from them and therefore had no business writing about poor customer service. Why would I buy if they don't answer a simple question. A person comes in your store (virtual or physical) , asks a question about something you sell and they are ignored? Yet you don't deserve a poor review?
BTW, it turned out to be a crappy cheap sprocket that disintegrated after 2 weeks.

I may have to try one of his engine kits asap. i am drooling over the inframe four stroke kit with shifting capability. hopefully it will be cheaper and more relyable the buying a two stroke kit and then having to get one of those jack shaft kits from sick bike parts. it would be sweat and look a lot better going two stroke but hey if the four stoke kit works i can deal with having that thing hanging off my left side.
