Where is that global warming that the guvmint is hyping so that they can get more control of us? Man it is snowing here in the sunny south! Looks like we got a couple of inches here. Did some of you nawthern guys pull some kind of switcheroo and swap us your snow for our sunshine? If you did we want it back. Probably was that Barely Awake fellow up in Maine.

I guess it was offset by "global cooling" - The politicians never told anyone about that one did they? It's nothing to worry about but its still a good idea to work towards higher efficiency and lower emission engines. Ya know we do breathe what is dumped into the air :) . Efficiency, Performance and lower toxic emissions go hand in hand. Anyways, don't worry about the political scare tactics from either side of congress. Everything will work out for the better.

Yea, sort of, kinda . there was some type of activity , and suddenly we are getting weather bombed, but the heat increased , Now within the next 7 days it is ramping down to colder but then the temp up ramps right back up to above normal. ......don't really want to get too hot now. Today, I had to go out and shovel mega snow 3 times and I gotta shovel again tomorrow . I don't think that was in the forecast. I am up in Edmoton, Alberta, Canada. I know one thing; the snowmobile and snow removal companies are happy.:-0 :-/ cvlt1 P.S. When this snoe gets packed down it will form a great suface and cover up all that black ice. ...good for bik'n

Cold and rainy today here as well. I have to ride with my wife over to the family get together in some yuppie restaurant. Didn't anyone tell these people I am now the hermit. I was the black sheep for years going anywhere there was fun and doing anything for a laugh, now I am the most settled of the siblings. My big thrill of the day is riding my ebike a couple of miles.

So it is brave the weather at the mercy of a woman driver, pray for me.

Global warming let me down, spoiled my act as a clown. (sang to the tune of Burl Ives 'A little bit of tear let me down."

I tried my rhino friction drive on a wet road the other day for the first time and it worked pretty well. If it snows here I will have to give it a try. It might actually work pretty good, I really doubt it though.

Well ther's some kind of magic goin on because right now, it is 14 degrees fahrenheit and Sunday it is dropping to 4 below zero. I see an inversion here with the 14 and the 41 . I,m not really all that surprised. Between yesterday and today, I just shoveld snow for the fourth time and this last time ,some of the drifts were up to my waist!!! Now it just started to snow again!!! I never welded plastic in my life but there is a section on plastic welding in my old welding bible, so I went and looked it up so I could weld my tiny little plastic snow shovel that split right up the middle last winter. I also fabricated a metal blade for it out of 16 gauge galvanized sheet metal and it works great!!!! I also have a shovel with a blade that is 37 inches wide. If I had a snow blower and was using it, I would still be out there right now, and only half done!!!!!:):):):)

I'm sure glad this didn't turn into a vitriolic, chair throwing political debate. Thanks for keeping it light, guys. Denver forecast: COLD, VERY VERY COLD, for the next week. My garage is heated and its still too cold to work out there comfortably. Rats!!!

The Jackalope is in season now until December the 25th when the state puts a ban on killing them. Seems they look too much like raindeer... :)

Warming overall- All that ice has now melted in the arctics, and for now we have too much moisture, actually having a counter-effect, and blocking the sun. Evaporating, causing clouds to block sun, raining and reforming- last two years after drought before that.

the winds HAVE shifted over the eastern half of U.S. where most of the population, air traffic, auto traffic and concrete is, sooooo,

north to south movement bring more EXTREMES in temperature, and MOISTURE that circulates back and forth between Gulf of mexico and Hudson Bay/ Great Lakes

In the west, the systems that come down in the winter along the coast from Alaska, haven't gotten as far south as strongly or frequently, for some time now, accounting for the longstanding drought in the Southwest.

Heres a little vid I shot about this:

YouTube - Cloud Seeding in the USA

Heres one of the "100 Year Flood" and seven feet of water that hit my house summer before last
