Scotto 152 [Black Ale, Entry B] is a Huasheng with a Grubee G4 gearbox.
It like the way it looks much than Scotto's EZ Q Matic build.

Billy Goat Green [Terry Blow, Entry B] is also a Huasheng with a Grubee G4 gearbox

I did not add pics there, because I was a lil bit of a pioneer. I bet you prolly appreciate the rationale behind protecting your intellectual property, Quenton.

Throttle is Go-Ped trigger and shifter is Sturmey Classic, too. Both sides require a trigger finger. Also, I'm on page 2 and 3 of the build thread. I did not add pics there, because I was a lil bit of a pioneer. I bet you prolly appreciate the rationale behind protecting your intellectual property, Quenton.

Edit: not that I consider anything I done "intellectual property". But I didn't want people copying aspects of my unique build. Especially since the deadline was changed a couple times.

silverbear is not a dealer,,,
he is just another 'guy who builds cool bikes' :)
(I 'borrowed' that from bairdco's sig ;))
SB is cool but he may be a dealer now, Quenton offered.
and silverbear wrote the install manual for the EZ Q Matic
because the company never got it done.......

Anyway who cares if Scotto or Terry are dealers at
any stretch of that definition.

Most EZ Motorbike kit buyers become dealers cause they get
to buy cheaper at dealer cost LOL
They are just enthusiasts like the rest of us.

Ok...........

A few comments are in order...........

First & foremost, the "build off" was simply a 4-stroke in frame competition.

It was never mentioned or a requirement to use the EZM 4-stroke [HS 142] kit motor, Honda GXH50, nor a Q-Matic drive.

Several entered with HF 79 CC, Grubee G4, Hoot, and other choices of motor and drive systems.

Although Silverbear has been very helpful in adapting the HF 79 CC motor to the Q-Matic, writing one of the best detailed motorbike installation posts EVER and helped many, he didn't write the installation manual for EZM, it was written by a dealer in CA named Bill Spence [Thanks Bill]. I wrote the instruction sheet included in the Q-Matic drive [not the complete kit], and has been included in the drive kit for several years.

The reason The Aleman entry was over looked is because I didn't see it entered with pictures in the actual build section. We will, however add it to the competition. Please send a picture to [email protected] and I will add you to the list.

So far, the winners either used an EZM kit or the Q-Matic drive, however as stated earlier it wasn't required.

Silverbear EZM kit with Q-Matic
Jay Cruise EZM kit with Q-Matic
AZ Bill EZM kit with Q-Matic
Scotto Harbor Freight 79 CC with Q-Matic

The purpose of the “build-off” was to have fun, learn from others, and allow EZ Motorbike Company to “give back” to reward other’s for their efforts.

Have fun,
