I am learning. Just purchased a Huffy Nel Lusso from Walmart. Wanted to go the 4 stroke route; however, it appears the 4 stroke will not fit. So.........the 2 cycle route will have to do. Really like the looks of the Nel Lusso. Should have done a little more frame size research prior to purchasing, but this a 'first timer' project and will most likely not be the last build.

A 49cc Huasheng fits, 79cc predators fits. Start a proper thread.

In my defense I was losing phones at an incredibly fast pace...
I found out that one of my co-workers was stealing my phone because he was ... a jerk.

Hey I just gained 6 mph by gapping my sparkplug at 35 instead of 25 like they say too. And my top end bog is almost gone. Play with your gap. Start at 40 and go down. 39-38-37... Its amazing the difference it made. Dig it!

A wider S/P gap gives a hotter fatter spark
2 stroke with a strong fuel oil mix and or a rich condition will need a hotter fatter spark

M/B S/Ps gap can be anywhere from .025" which is recommended and up to .040" will still be OK

Making the S/P gap any wider than .040" will cause the Spark to jump sideways to the S/P outer edges

There is always Sanding the needle .001" with 800 grit in the spot the bog happens
Hi Tom,

Years back there was a guy on here FFV that made intake manifolds or the little 4 strokes. Would you happen to know if he’s still around or still making the intake manifolds?

Thanks in advance

hello folks, Im new to this site. I am thinking of putting a motor on my Mongoose XR-200. It is a full suspension with a frame mounted mono shock. and a spring action front forks. (Walmart special).
Is this feasible. Or am I taking on a big modification project. Its an old bike. But rides extremely well.

also I would like to know if Bikeberry is a good site to get motors and kits from. Or should I spend the extra cash and buy a phatmoto with a predetor 79 cc

If you got the cash go with the whole kit. Everything is designed to run together. Otherwise you could be opening a can of worms that can cost a grip to sort out. Manifolds, chain, ect ect ect... And yes bikeberry is reputable. They know whats what and dont jerk you around...usually.

I just recently installed an 80cc 2 stroke on my beach cruiser, as far as I can tell I have everything correct. I’ve watched you tube videos and I still cant get it started, there’s compression and a spark, and fuel. This is also my first time with a motorized bicycle. Any suggestions on what is wrong
i bought a 80cc motorbike set online and i put it all together and it did not run so i looked online and it said use a power drill on the mag screw and i did it clockwise fast speed and it crank up for a min or so and shut off i try ride it down the road and use the clutch to get it to crank up that does work only when i use a power tool strate to piston and makes the engine turn over whats wrong with it
plz hlp

The way to go for a senior trike pulling groceries is top of wheel friction drive. Driving the wheel, and not the spokes huh? { Power from the rubber to the road.) Last, the car starter motor powered with 2- auto batteries, can double the voltage; ( I think )? Emilio. 02/05/21
