...starting a new Project!

With all the lessons learned from the two racers I built, which both ended up in being just display-bikes, this new project will have a functionable engine!!

For my other bikes I used parts of an east-german Simson engine, and I decided to take this engine again.
It has an unique design and looks antique somehow, although it is from the seventies.

A fake second cylinder will be added, and I am thinking of having the second cylinder in function too, and I will added something on top of the original engine with valves and stuff, and get the valves working...

Ambitious project, I know, but I will take may time...

...not sure yet, this engine will have an output of about 2.5 hp, I think bicycle tires will do the 25-30 mph cause I want to stay with 28" wheels...

That should be a very cool build! will you be using horizontal rear drop outs this time for the rear wheels? and what gauge for the wheels spokes?
