I'm a newbie, and will take her apart when I get it, but want my firstborn to be pro built...don't like mixing oil and gas, so I want a 4 stroker. Help me out guyz!
I don't want to give you a non answer but it all depends on how much you want to spend and what kind of bike you want.
You can go from a used motor from a snow blower to a nice new Honda. Then we get into chain drive or scrubber and "push trailers". You have to give us an idea of what you would like.
howdy and welcome. This is a pricey set up but a good one. Honda with a Grubee. Grubee GB kinda sucks but works well.

I have both and really like them. GB is not great though. The Honda GX50 is a joy!!!! Can also get a HS clone but the 30 or so bucks is well spent. Just MHO here and many would disagree.
Mixing the Oil for a 2 stroke really becomes a non issue,I thought the same way when I first shopped for a motor ,I havent tried a 4 yet but if this is your first MB Ill bet you would have a whole mess of fun with a 2 and they are cost effective besides.
If you have your heart set on a 4 Go for it!! Id be excited to hear how you make out with it....BEST OF LUCK,be safe
Thanx Guyz........maybe a two stroke wouldn't be so bad?
How about drives.......was looking to spend around $600 to $700 shipped to NC. Santa Cruz Green seems to have some pretty good deals, and also seem to know about the little things that make the experience more enjoyable..........I'm itching.........wish there were places near Charlotte to see and test drive.
