working on a new vintage bike project now--

That is awesome! I have had alot of fun riding my bikes this summer including riding them with friends who come to visit me in my small town from all over the world. I took them to the Lead Sled National show and we were able to ride them all over the show grounds. Here is the thread on the hot rod message board "The HAMB" that poo poo pipe was talking about. My new toy--every Hamber should have one-- - THE H.A.M.B.

What engine did you use in the first pic?

also, is your frame a singlespeed? i would think you eould need to re-weld and space out the rear triangle if you wanted a whizzer sheave to fit...

If I remember right, the shipping from Taiwan was $25 and the Whizzer sheave was $29.99. It was one of those make an offer listings on Ebay. So I bought 4 of them for $25 each and still paid $25 shipping. As for the jackshaft and bearing those items can be fabricated from parts purchased at a farm supply store.
