Hi, I'm Bob and I'm trying to breathe new life into my late dad's 1946 Model H Whizzer. He bought the engine new (have the instruction manual and a 1946 NJ Bill of Sale) and installed it on a LaFrance balloon tire bike. Haven't gotten around to identifying the age of the bike yet. I just posted a couple pics of the Whizzer as I got it out of storage in the basement.

Pix at the time I found the Whizzer in mothballs:

Hi guys, thanks for the warm welcome.

For this bike, I think getting it mechanically sound, cleaning off the grime and dust, and leaving it as original as possible is going to be my plan at this point. So far it's cleaning up nicely. I've got it to the point of bringing it outside and taking some "cleanup up" pix and then dumping in some fuel and seeing what happens. I confirmed it's got spark after getting a nice jolt while pedaling and trying to get the plug to fire.

Wish me luck.usflg
