Whizzer key start

The older I get the more I want a key start Whizzer. The Ambassador is not allowed in CA but I would imagine some parts would be available. I am a retired carpenter but I was thinking if a ring type sprocket could be welded to the fly wheel all you would need is a starter to mesh with the flywheel and a big azz 12v battery. It would be nice to have a back up kick starter and of course peddles as long as I’m dreaming.
Any thoughts?

I've heard of using a cordless drill with a socket to spin the motor and start it.... It would be interesting to break down and rebuild the concept into a starter motor.

First idea is to fix the Whizzer so it starts easy ,then you wouldnt need a starter(which isnt that hard to do) OR buy a Honda!

I think the ambassador has a belt drive starter....not ring gear?
