Which kit to buy?

I'm newer to the motor bicycle scene... I've got a bug bike that I've had for 15 years in storage and I am in the process of getting it running.. and I've collected a couple of cruiser frames and an OCC frame and I am interested in building a rat bike.. I want to build the cruisers first and would like to know which motor kit everyone recommends... but seems there may be some horror stories with the cheap ebay kits... I don't want to buy a motor to just have it break down in a couple of months... I also don't want to spend a fortune.. any suggestions on a better starter kit... Thanks Derek

Buy one from thatsdax.com, at least he has a viable warranty and is accessible to customers after the sale.

Do some research as this topic has been covered numerous amounts of times. To answer your question, like Bikeguy Joe said buy a kit from thatsdax. He's the local dealer in my area and the only dealer that I deal with for 2 strokes.

first look to see if someone local to you is selling kits - helps a lot to be able to get a show&tell on parts & problems
