whats the exact (or close) color of a flying merkel?

I'm helping choppercrazy build a merkel coppy and I figured that it would be a good plan to nock out the paint part before I get my vampire/blacksmith friend (also known as count bryan on here) to cut us out a tank and rap out a fender. xct2

Pics, never seen a actual merkel in real life, well I did see a rusty tank at a swap meet that was supost to be a merkel tank but it looked like a piece of drain pipe with a petcock.
We're using a old monark womens bike (the people on the cabe said it ain't too valuable so ts gona get choped) and keeping the old downtube then just welding in the top tube(s). Using a 5 hp techumseh

According to their 1916 catalog it's #16 Orange. This translates to Benzidine Orange R.

Oh ok, does it come ina rattle can? Because we're doing most (all) of the work at the metal shop and the paint room in woodshop. The reason for the rattle can is in the pint room there's no air lead so can't use spray gun. Mr. Robbinson has everythin set up in there to paint it alredy (he works realy fast)so he's baisicly wating for us. Here's the frame we're using The Classic and Antique Bicycle Exchange

Couldn't tell you if it comes in a rattle can since I only do powder & ceramic coating.

Ok, choppers interogating his dad about the color (he owns a paint and tile store) and I found a picture of a merkel head badge and I mite ask my aunt who can paint very good if she can paint the logo onto the orrigonal badge of the bike to look like it.

rustoleum makes an orange in a spray can that's pretty close. i cant post links from my phone, but if you search "monark firestone" you'll find the build i did and you can judge for yourself.

Well accually were painting at my shop my family owns a paint/carpet/tile shop and I got a pro sprayer and a mixing station so we can accually get a good coat/coats of paint and it will look good instead of crap if we had to do it in woodshop. But its gunna look awsome and charlie y u worried about transportation frm school to shop my gpa can jst drive it down the road and we can set up some sheets so don't get paint everywhere mix paint spray super easy.

I measured the donor frame and the frok is 23 inces from top of the threads to the dropouts. The frame is 45 inces from axel to axel. Going to take out some of the seat tube to lower it a bit.
Choppers got the plans I drew for the parts to mod the stock forks into girder forks.
