i am in wv and the hills are quite steep here and i was looking at the sprockets spooky tooth offers anyone know what size i should go with? And what size chain i have? Thanks
I'm assuming that you have a 2-stroke kit? If so, the stock rear sprocket is 44t.
A bigger rear sprocket will give you more hill climbing power, but you will lose some top end speed. Maybe try a 48t sprocket. (depending on how much you weigh.)
If you're using the kit supplied chain it's a good bet that it is #415, basically a metric version of our #41 chain. Some kits I've seen have come with a smaller, BMX style, closer in size to bicycle chain. Use the search feature at the top of the page, type in 'chain size' and you'll have plenty to read on the subject.
As for sprocket size, follow the advice given to you above by Venice.
