Wet road tire suggestions?

I'm looking for good wet road tires. I use 26 inch, min width 2.0 max width 2.25 Would appreciate any suggestions. I live on the wet coast and fall is coming. I'm also on a tight budget so price is a factor.

Slicks. Not racing slicks just regular slicks. The canoe shaped contact patch will keep you from hydroplaning and slicks will give more contact than treads. Lemme know what you find!! I'm looking for quality slicks myself..
 
Thanks Tony, I'm scared of the word slicks but I see your point. I have been surfing for hours and looking at a mind boggling array of tires. So far the compromise is the Shwalbe Marathon. It's got great reviews for grip, wear, and puncture protection. I'll keep you posted on any decision and results or reviews.
