After all this I even hesitate to ask but have you looked at the float to make sure it doesn't have any gasoline in it? There have been a number of reports of cracked floats that allowed it to sink or not float to the top of the fuel level as it is supposed to do.
Pablo asked a good question in his last post. Use a magnifying glass if you need to and take a good look at the needle valve and seat to make sure there are no imperfections that is allowing too much fuel to enter the bowl even if the float is good. Even a very small scratch or gouge will give you the problems you describe.
