Washington DC Laws?

Hey y'all,

Heading to DC to visit a friend soon, and will have my mobo in tow. Would love to be able to tool around the Capitol on my bike. Anyone know the laws 'round there? I got the idea that you can ride a mobo unhindered if it doesn't exceed 20MPH. Registration required after that. I could always CLAIM it only goes 19MPH!

As long as you keep the speed below 20mph you're golden. Once you're clocked breaking 20mph then you're MB becomes a motor driven cycle and over 30mph a motorcycle, at which point you are subject to all of laws pertaining to each eg; license, registration, vehicle inspection, insurance, safety equipment etc, etc...
