i know all about this its sad really diesel is the best fuel period and they just wont let it be over here .

look at this little guy sure its a two seater 250 mpg anyone

a car that trumps or bikes on fuel economy now that's impressive .

sure would love a diesel Toyota pu my vw tdi is amazing though a huge amount of power while sipping down diesel .

I've been driving diesels since the time when diesel was cheaper than gasoline by 25 cents. My wife will never drive another gasser if she can help it; she loves the incredibe acceleration/torque and ability to smoke any gasser up steep mountain passes while towing a 27 foot camper ;-)

When I owned my VW Jetta TDI station wagon, 48 mpg was my average during the summer months...mind you that was cruising between 75-80mph. My VW Jetta sedan as heavier/larger and it regularly returned 44mpg highway. 950 miles per tank was not unusual on my station wagon.

My current ride is a 2006 diesel Jeep Liberty and my wife's ride is an 07 Grand Cherokee diesel. Both are chipped and both will smoke most ricers with fart can mufflers.....when I say smoke, I'm talking but beat....my wife's Grand Cherokee emits NO soot on accleration.
