Venice Springer fork question

Will I need anything else to put this fork on such as a new headset? Also I am wanting this fork because it looks like I can bolt on some v-brakes is this correct? Its going on a Delmar and a Huffy Karaoke.

That springer is already set up for "V" brakes. It says so on the left side of the picture and the tabs are on it.
