I'm thinking about upgrading to Worksman Wheels for added spoke strength. Worksman uses 11 gauge spokes and I think my broken spoke problem will end with these. Currently using 14 Gauge Straight gauge stainless spokes. I break about 2 or so spokes every few weeks with these. Everything is tensioned properly. It's not the wheels fault, I just have a heavy bike with no suspension in the back. Anyway, I want to use my existing Sturmey/Archer front hub with Dynamo. My front hub is spoked for 14 gauge spokes right now. Can I drill my spoke holes in the front hub up to .120 so I can use 11 gauge spokes with them? Thanks.
