Since I first posted pics a few months ago, I have made a few small changes. I changed the seat to a retro style with chrome springs, painted the engine shroud silver to lessen the lawn mower look, and added a small leather retro look tool bag on the handlebars,in which I actually carry the tools shown. The tools shown fit everything on the bike in case of problems on the road.

Nice work, I never did have any luck on the speedo. I tried the number for the Tx. Whizzer branch with no luck.
 
You will never regret carrying tools on your ride, especially if you are commuting. These motorbikes are reliable, but the aren't Toyotas.
 
Great looking bike! I see you have a pair of Channel Lock pliers. I used to work for Channel Lock when I lived in PA. Great tools!
