Ok guys, I'm stumped.
I'm trying to measure the resistance of the stator coils in the ignition setup on this page.

Here are the steps im taking:
-Im using a radio shack range 29 multimeter.
-It reads "O.F" ...infinate resistance when the leads are not touching.
- There is only 1 wire leading from the stator assembly to the cdi box.
- I pulled it off the coil, put the red lead of my multimeter on the now detatched female spade of that same wire. I put the black lead on both the head and then the grounding bolt of the cdi.
- And both times it read 0.00 ohms...
-im certain that im reading the resistance because the omega symbol is on the digital readout.
- this is the same cicuit that when completed caused the motor to cut off.
Am i doing something wrong?
