I have been building bike for about 5 years now but got into motorized bikes about 3 years back. I have some bikes in the motoredbikes gallery under Popunas or Tortuga. I started a board tracker and this site has a board tracker area.

This is the first Tortuga board track bike. Won't be long now.

Wow! Looks really cool, how big is the tank?

The tank will hold about a 1/2 gallon. I am working on a thicker & fatter tank. Once all the welding is done I will have to find a cool color to paint. Too much O.T. at my regular job is slowing things down. But then I am building 4 other bikes at the same time. There is only so many hours in a day!

The kick stand came of an electric bike but it was made to bolt on this frame.

I like what u did with the exhaust. I want to do the same with mine when my bike arrives. Is the exhaust alum or steel? Also do you know what diameter tubing you used? Any idea how it will run with no muffler?

I still have to weld the muffler on. Also put carb,coil,chain,fuelshut off,clutch,throttle,weld steel handle bar exhaust pipe & weld motor mounts. You get the picture. What kind of bike are you waiting for if you don't mind me asking. Thanks back.

Can you tell me if the pipe is alum or steel and the diameter?

I think it is 7/8 steel from old handle bars. But the handle bars I made are 1'' w/7/8'' ends for the grips.
