Throttle Trouble

Hey guys, so I've ran into a little problem. My bike turns on properly, but, as soon as throttle is given it seems to just get a little louder as if it wants to accelerate but it doesnt. Really need help with this been working on it for like 3 hours. Thanks in advance

Sounds like a slipping clutch.

how would i go about fixing that. ive been messing with the clutch all day, and finally have gotten it back to being able to get engaged and disengaged.

You'd take off the cover and the lock screw on the flywheel and turn the flower nut one notch and see what that gets you.

I tried what you said and it didn't work. I tried the next notch and nothing happened 4 or so notches straight.

If you have a Chinese 2 stroke engine, you didn't tell us, you might want to take a look here> http://motorbicycling.com/showthread.php?t=22726 for clutch adjustment.

Yeah I guess I forgot to say that but I've tried what the other thread says and its still doing the same thing. Starts up but wont accelerate

We still don't know what you have. Nevertheless it sounds like your throttle cable needs adjustment.
If we knew what engine/carburetor you have we might be able to help. Provide us with some basic information and we can be more specific with out suggestions.
