Throttle help

Is there anyone here familier with an electric scooter controller. I bought one on ebay from a scooter store that promised the throttle I also bought from him would work with it. Low and behold there is no connector for the throttle, there is however a connector for something called a derailluer. It had the right number of wires but the wrong colors. that also happens with the gas bikes but I hate to start chopping off conectors if I have the wrong controller.

Any body have any ideas. I emailed the seller but have no idea if he will respond or not.

Never mind I called the dealer and found out that the dérailleur is the throttle for some reason but it works now. Not sure it will prove to be anything special but at least I have a throttle.
