This is #3

This is the third time this has happened to me. My bike is running awesome and
I'm zipping along and my bike dies never to start again until I replace the magnito and the cdi. What could be causing this.

both parts died 3 times?
i hear the magnet being to strong can cause this.

Every time I've had to replace both parts to get it running again.

i wonder if its a heat issue how long do they last?

None of them have lasted very long. No more than 50 miles.

So know Ideas? I hate to throw parts at it again just to have it happen again.

Any rain or moisture while riding? That fried mine. RTV is a good fix for that.

How close is the CDI to your exhaust? Do you have a picture of your setup?
