The Pocket Bike Engine and Your Opinion...

You could save some money & make your own friction drive using 2 pillow block bearings mounted to two pieces of angle aluminum (1/4"). Run a short shaft thru the bearings for a roller & pulley or sprocket on the end. Mount the cag on top using the bottom mounting holes...

I don't know where to get all that. Thanks though. I like the Dax kit. It looks sturdy and easy to move up and down on the tire, and can even take it off to use the bike in CX events.
