Sometimes we get insulated in our world of self interest. We talk to others who feel pretty much the same as we do. For some reason known only to God, i opened the feedback about the NC moped law being postponed. I thought you guys might be interested in the give and take. I was, and yes i'm that deacon...

Moderation. You speak of moderation. That's the key to everything. Mopeders and cagers alike. You made a good point Deacon, and I wish all government would take a page from your book. I appreciate your posts and opinions.

We will do ourselves a tremendous favor if we stay far to the right, off the sidewalks, and even take longer routes to avoid high density traffic when possible.

I do this, not only to avoid unwanted attention from the law, but for the convenience of faster traffic and pedestrians. Also. and probably more importantly, I do it out of pure, blatant self interest as I choose not to become part of the grill of a large vehicle.
