[TOTAL CARNAGE]

This is a 1940 J.C.Higgins that I built for my wife.
It was in sad shape when I got it but was able to save the wheels,skip thooth chain and crank, chain guard, handle bars and stem and fenders. Every thing was rusted so i had to paint all.
This is one of two bikes found on Craig's list for $25!! The other is a 55 Rollfast.
Last pic shows the night they came home. Please, let me know what you think of them!

Both are outstanding examples. Congratulations. You don't know how lucky you are to find deals like that on Craig's. Every time I see one near me they're asking a fortune for it. Like $175. for a rusted old Schwinn frame. Thanks for sharing. Have fun, ride safe.
