The official Installation/Service manual for Chineese 2 strokes

got a hard copy here that came in this week with a dead bike - out of date, full of errors & this copy was shipped with a non-skyhawk motor

you'll learn a lot more & get better build advice here on the board

Most of it is good info but I have to disagree with some of it.

16, even 18:1 is still too much oil I don't care what they say. That has been proven.
The worst advice, or item for sale, was the rubber engine mounts. That concept isn't even questionable.

I liked that they addressed some weaknesses such as the plug-in wire connectors and make the recommendations that they be replaced with soldered connections. Too bad they didn't condemn that spark plug boot that is one of the biggest problems with their kits.

Nevertheless, it is a good source for a newbie to get the basics. But, as crassius said, there's better advice right here if you just take the time to look for it. Every item in that manual has been covered here numerous times by builders who have years and miles of experience and have nothing to gain from sharing what they have found works best.
