the 31cc WW Bike revisited.

So I began looking for ways to soup up a WW engine. Something simple and reasonable in price. I read where you can use a Chainsaw carb on the 31cc engine.

Now I have a 33 cc chainsaw and I had a WW running at the same time. I always said they were close in performance but the chainsaw had a little more guts this explains why. The chainsaw has a slightly larger carb.

I'm not sure exactly what i'm going yes since the directions assumed that I knew what the heck I was doing, and I don't. So I need to do some more looking but I'm going to do that minor modification an get me a cheap chainsaw carb.... Anybody know what a reed valve is????

Reed valves on a 2stroke engine are like valves on a 4stroke engine. They let air in and out and provide compression.

before I read your reply I looked it up and found the answer. But I do appreciate your information. I had no idea what it was but once I read the explanation I said of courser it would blow the crab right off the engine.
