As Sidewinder Jerry said it's not the ideal choice for a first build but if that bike in the post is yours it appears to have room for the engine. That's the usual problem. You will need a rear hub adapter. This clamps on the rear wheel hub and and has three fingers that stick out through the spokes. The chain sprocket mounts to the three mounting points with with screws/bolts.

Speed is usually governed by the sprockets number of teeth. In the case of a tandem, the engine usually mounts in the rear section of the frame.

Here is the rear sprocket adapter from Sportsman Flyer. They are a three piece adapter and hold onto the hub better than a two piece adapter.
