Same here, I remember my teacher wheeling in the TV and we watched it almost the entire day.

I saw the Challenger thing live-

I think nature has an ebb and flow to it that modern man likes to too often tempt.
A small delay for warmer weather may have saved that crew, but then it may have just been someone else.

No doubt.
And no one should ever let N.A.S.A. forget about it either. Isn't that the one where one department knew that seal wasn't good at those temps, but due to the miscommunication and the desire to go ahead as planned, caused that thing to blow up in the sky? I think that was the one. (Too much rattling around in my head and I can't remember)
