I’m looking to get a tachometer for my 2 stroke kit. It’s turning out to be way too much fun tacking this project and I almost went over budget getting a tinytach before realizing they were $50. It’s not too much and if there aren’t comparable and reliable options aside from that I’ll definitely go for it, but I wanted to know if anyone has had success with other tachometers that are cheaper.....or if there even are any

You can get them really cheap on ebay. I've had my techometer/hour counter for 10 years. It's held up great. The hour counter is a very good feature for helping to maintain maintenance schedules.
