Suitable dynamo for motorized bicycle cruiser

I really don't like batteries. Hate replacing them and hate throwing them away. I have looked around for dynamo lights but there's a few questions I haven't been able to answer.

-I need a light that can run for a few minutes without motion, like at a red light

-One that won't burn out from the higher elec. input

-What about these? could I make this myself?

Here is the thing. If you want to run generator-driven lights, you need to regulate the voltage, no matter what type of generator you use, or you run the risk of frying the lights and/or the system itself. I bought the 6v mini-gen from the same seller you linked to, but I also have a 6v headlight which I also purchased from them, which has a built-in voltage regulator. I have been running the light off the white wire, but it likes to kill the engine at idle, hence the generator. I just ordered the generator last night, so its not here yet.

I'm not sure about that one. The mini-gen from wonderful creations should be fine, you just need something to regulate the current.
