Its been awhile since i first posted this bike. I have made a few changes since then. As it sits now- 78v lipo battery- 12Fet controller set at 50 amps- Crystalyte 3540- f/r 203mm avid 5 brakes, hookworm tires. 3 speed switch for the legal, simi-legal and sh*t thats not legal mode. The black aluminum panels have been taken off to be painted the red to match the bike and my helmet. I will have them on Tuesday, ugh i cant wait.

It is really fast. My top speed is 46mph. I do not care what anyone says- thats to fast to be riding a bicycle on city streets. Its fun on private streets, I keep to the legal and simi-legal mode.

No need to get the cops hatin e-bikers.
.wee.

Nice bike, how much range do you get?

It depends on how i ride- keeping up with traffic, wind, hills ect..
I get min. 10miles to about 25miles.

One advantage of living in a small town is, to the other side and back is about 12 miles. So range is not a big factor for me.

sounds like island life rich. endless summer on an island that is only 28 miles long and 8 miles wide at the biggest points. i ride mine coast to coast every day. i live on the north shore and the airport i work at is on the south shore. 10 miles each way.

Yep, its great. Saves some big $ on gas, thats for sure. Plus, i can get around town faster than the cars can.

A couple more pics in red. It was nice out yesterday and this morning i get up to rain. Thanks Washington..

looks really good. next time you take off the panels can we have a peak inside :)

It mite be awhile before i take everything apart again. I finally have everything running just the way i like it.

Under the panels are just the (3)batteries. Two of them are on a tray and the third is industrial velcroed to the frame tube. There is not much room in the triangle of a 20" f/s frame.

Its just doing a good job hiding the spagetti wiring of the batteries and controller connections.

Here is a pic of before when i just had a battery bag.

The panels are aluminum. They were a prototype for another bike but, fit this bike better.

The panels were sprayed with car paint and baked at a local autobody/paint shop.

Looks real sharp. 25.9V sounds like a top charge into your 3 6S? lipo bricks. However, 46mph sounds more like 3 8S?

The red spray paint must be Honda Ralley Red and looks great with the white trim. I wish I had your forks, my RockShoxs are good enough but not confidence inspiring at 35-40mph racing. I tell everyone, it'll go faster than want to ride. 22-24mph is my preference.

The batteries are 7s for 21s = 88.6v off the charger. They are different lipos' than the hobby ones that you are using.

My forks really are not the greatest either. (The price of a good set of forks is ridiculous).
