Will the better sprocket adapters work on a basic huffy cruiser?

Not sure which hub came on your bike, but if you got a set of calipers you could measure the hub diameter and have a better way to compare... these things need to fit exactly so accurate measuring is a must. Now if you can see or find a name brand and/or part number on your hub it would be a lot easier to match up...
Several places offer these adapters in several different sizes so there shouldn't be a problem finding one that fits... some places will even make a custom one if they don't carry the right size... Hope this helps.

I believe i will get the 26" big daddy from kmart. Does that help? Im taking the motor and kit off of a small huffy cruiser. The rear end tore apart because of the coaster brake coming loose.

Maybe somebody else in here is familiar with that model, but I can't really help much there... IF you can get a cheap dial or digital caliper you could measure the hub. If you have a Harbor Freight near you, they sell calipers ranging from about $6 to about $50 or so depending on size and whether or not it's digital.
These are what I'm talking about and they will be very useful for other stuff so if you do get a set, they won't be used once and end up occupying space in your toolbox, I've had the same set for about 15 years and use them almost on a daily basis... http://www.harborfreight.com/catalogsearch/result?q=caliper

It it's a 26" single speed with a coaster brake the answer is yes. Probably this one.

This hub works fine on the standard Huffy Cranbrook rear wheel, not sure if hub size is different on the Fat tire Huffy wheel or not, I'm gonna guess that it's probably the same, but cant swear to that of course.
I have this same adapter from Pirate, nice part.
Hub will need to be measured to know for sure unless someone here has already used it and can testify to it working for sure.

Here is the best deal I have found on a sprocket and adapter for the Shimano 110 or the other coaster hubs that size.
I run smaller that a 40T on my bikes but I know many run that size and this is a great deal for an adapter and a sprocket for only $58.00

Was gonna suggest a micrometer (more accurate) from Harbor Freight. But after thinking about it, think DaveZ is right. A caliper will come in handy(er) later.
Used both while taking some machining courses and they were amazingly accurate. Was just gonna use em for school but they really are more then adequate.
It is an extra $20 bucks on your build but is a great tool to have. Just a thought and then you would be sure when buying.
