I just ordered one of these for my wife.

It's a 500w 48v 14ah 7 speed Sondors Fold.

Purty cool, BN. What kinda stats?

Looking for a bulk buy to resell. Camp grounds, marinas, etc. Folding e-bikes are pretty perfect.

There's 3 color options, Red, Black, or Silver, plus a couple of other options.

The base model is 36v 8.8ah, 350w, single speed for $699.

All models come with LCD display, paddle throttle, PAS, and mechanical disk brakes. It has an alloy frame. Total weight is claimed to be 50 lbs. A 7 gear derailleur with twist shifter is a $100 option, and you can also order it with a bigger 36v 17.5 ah battery for additional $100.

There's also a 48v 14ah, 500w model called the, Fold X for $899. For $100 more it you can get it with 7 speeds. This is what I ordered in Red. With shipping it was $1123

This is the link for anybody that's interested.

another sondor success--- more power to him he deserves it for what he has been able to create and market so successfully

rumor has it that some buyers never did receive their initial bikes as their $$ was used to fund production and never reimbursed or received their bikes

have you heard such rumor or fact???

Probably just a rumor considering there's almost 6000 people in the Strom owners group on Facebook. In the original campaign I was funder #173 out of about 4000, and I got my bike on time and as promised.

I do believe there was a lot of industrial trolling during the original campaign sponsored by the establishment eBike industry in an effort to try to stop Storm, but the effort failed.

A lot of people, myself included, thought the fold was going to be a little clown bike, because of the 20 inch wheels, but a side by side comparison shows it to be not so little after all. It looks like the wheelbase is about the same, and it's only a little shorter.

He ripped their idea off and made it cheaper. I'm not buying one but maybe if it was alittle cheaper. It seems alittle overpriced for what you get.

Had it for about 2 weeks now. Changed the handle bars to BMX bars. Love this bike. Top speed is about 24 mph. Range is so far undetermined, but looks like about 30 to 40 miles would be a practical expectation for normal riding. The battery is a 48v 14ah Panasonic. My wife is 5'4". Total price shipped was $1123.

I predict that this bike will drive a stake through the heart of the establishment eBike industry. This alloy frame is made with hydro form technology, and is the same as Felt uses for their overpriced beach cruisers.

For me, I love my Fold (the $699 version, $823 shipped). I looked at that RadMini just now and that thing is seriously ugly. The basic Fold model is something a lot more people (like me) can afford, where the $1499 for the RadMini is not. I'd pick the Fold again if I had to do it over. It is awesome and looks cool as ****!

Awesome job on kitting your bike out. Can you tell us what you dislike about the ride. Also why so does over the rad mini?

Rad Mini is a fine bike as long as you don't mind riding a bike that's about as good looking as a Baboons Butt. Some people don't care, but the ones that do buy a Sondors Fold.
