What would a cop do if they saw you with a motorbike & one of those bicycle trailer cart things? And no, I'm not planning on putting any passengers in it. Is it illegal, just something they see as "suspicious", or do they for the most part look the other way?

CT DMV site doesn't seem to mention anything about it. Trying to plan a camping trip.

Here it is: you may attach a bicycle trailer that was design to be attached to a bicycle:
