...my last bike got stolen, right after fine tuning the engine &adding bunch o upgrades! damned crackhed Houdini!

Anyways, I'm startin a new project, and thought y'all'd like a peak @whats up my sleave this time...
just got done fab'ing up a layback seatpost, re-upholstering the seat w/leather from an old jacket, as well as fab'in up the motor mount, and chain tensioner, both welded to frame then used "MIGHTY PUTTY" to clean 'er up a bit.
moped tank on the way...next- home-made monarch style forks!
...should be in order: all together, the motor mount, chain idler- ENJOY!

ok, so here's the mockup of the forks...done some choppin, grindin & welding, alil more n some fine tuning &got me some $200 forks for about $16 @the hardware store!
so, in order...1. kinda put together so you can see where I'm goin, 2. a parts breakdown, 3. close-up of parts list, 4. close-up of spring setup...

exactamundo!! -actually, had a pair of those bent springer forks, which look great on a pedal bike, but ride like sh*^ when motorized...learned that the hard way...these should be MUCH more stable!
