    Oh, and THANK YOU GEARNUT, for the clarification. I thought I was being clear, and concise, but I also used to think I was witty and clever in my verbosity when drunk, and it turns out I was just a jerk.

    At work we use the 2part epoxy sealer from Caswell and it works very well on the over 20 tanks we have done over the past 4 years. Can't say the same about a few tanks that had been done with some gray sludge. The Caswell sealer is clear.

    And is that a two part epoxy? How long have the tanks lasted?
    I've only seen the aforementioned grey/off-white sludge which, even with AMPLE cure time, have lifted from the tank within a month or twos time at most...and the cloggy nightmares usually start sooner.

    3 years so far on the on the 2 tanks he has not sold the bikes a concourse and a Dneper
    at the same time i also did a poly tank that had a crack for a Tanaka powered weedeater that I could not find a replacement tank for and its still holding up
    yeah the casewll is 2part epoxy clear
