hey eeryone i was wondering if i can ride a 50 c bike on the sidewalk with the engine off. and of course if i can ride with it on :P
 
I ride my bike on the sidewalk with the motor turned off when traffic is ridiculous and just use the cross walk. I know it's somewhat embarrassing and people probably think I'm a idiot but it's better then being crushed between two cars.
 
Can you is one thing, if it's legal is another. Where I live there is a local ordinance against riding any bicycle on the sidewalk and if you get hit or in an accident it complicates liability.
 
True, I've haven't ran into a cop while I was on the sidewalk peddling my bike to get to the city hole for my packages at the post office (Gamefly rules).
