Spent the morning tearing down the bike- greasing everything that needed it, adjusting the brakes, gear shift, etc, after spending last night going through the engine and dry fitting everything. Hopefully have it rolling for real by tomorrow!

IT IS ALIVE!!! Just took a shake down run through the neighborhood and everything is tight and functioning like it should. Definitely a different feel than the Harleys i grew up on but man! Once the wind is in my hair...I can see the addiction to these things!

Clean looking build. Glad your debut ride went to plan.
Lot less cc's and mph than a Harley but the fun factor per $$$ spend is way in your favour.
Addiction is the right word. This is how it always starts. You won't be happy till you've a few more builds in the garage...

Bob nice build. Looks like a Fito frame. I've used two for builds in the past, one steel the other aluminum and both were really nice quality and featured adult dimensions. I gifted my daughter in law with one and still have the other and both were the easiest bikes to both ride and pedal.

Most of us left bicycles for scooters and then motorcycles but latter returned to pedals then motorized with pedals. Full circle and they are addictive to build and ride. Make old guys feel younger for certain!

thanks for the kind words. Not sure if it is a Fito frame; the donor bike is a 10 year old Greenline. I do know the frame is steel.

Pretty close. This is a steel frame Fito I built for my daughter in law. Ten years is just getting started on these frames.
