I could not take it anymore. I've fixed my tank 4 times, eventually it always starts leaking, my legs get gas all over them and my bike becomes a mess. I rack mounted a tank from a briggs powered blower. It's HUGE. the only line I had was a nice stainless one, but it looks kewl. no more drip drip. Tank has a nice plastic shutoff valve on it.

I had to add the board as a spacer, since gravity was not having enough effect on the tank to carb angle. But it looks ok i guess. Happy riding!

One strange phenomenon, without the tank up there I toasted my leg twice on the engine just a little bit. I guess it forced me to keep my legs apart a little more.

Yup... that tends to happen when ya least expect it... I got a good burn on mine from my custom exhaust, but since then I've re routed it so the pipe is no where near my legs now...
