securing fenders.

i been reading about accidents with those fenders on the beach cruiser , it scared me to think that those things can just come loose and get you hurt pretty bad. i came across one solution to use those metal strips you use to hang or secure pipes and so.
made a few strips of them and mounted them on fender for extra security used m5 bolts to attached them and seem to be a lot more secure now,

i use plastic. they are heavy enough to hold mud, but will feed through or get eaten by a tire instead of dumping me. 9 bucks a pop, last about a year of heavy abuse. worth it to know it ain't gonna throw me off the bike. plus they come in all kinds of cool colors.
