scored some vintage stars and stripes racing leathers!

i found these at a swapmeet for $120.

they're handmade, no labels, no liners, and pads stitched in. the talon zippers date them to early 60's.

the jacket fits me perfect, but the pants are too big, so they'll go up on the auction block.

i know a guy who specializes in this stuff and he's gonna come check them out this week.

from the pictures i sent him and after talking to him, he thinks i can get $750 or more!

i might be evel knievel again for halloween...

i actually have a red sparkle "stars and bars" helmet i wear when i'm on the moped. used to belong to the late, great, Johnny Chop.

found out recently he was an old roommate at my house before he passed.
