Everything has a story to it and this is mine.
A scrapper acquaintance told me last week of an auto repair shop that had an old bicycle with a front mounted motor on it in my town. Said it was for sale and that he had heard it run. Fast forward a week later I drive by that shop on my way home from work to stop in and sure enough it was in his back 'junk' room.
He got it in Kansas in a horse trade sort of thing. Rode it some and parked it in this back room.
We agreed on a price, that was more than I wanted to pay and he threw in another old Raleigh 10 speed and a gas powered reel type walk behind mover. Yea, and two defunct Lawn Boys (which I took and gave to the scrapper as a thank you for the heads up).
So I paid the man $75 cash and loaded it all up.
Here is what I am keeping.(besides the gas reel mower) Not sure of the make/model or year as it was getting dark. Will look it over close tomorrow. The large round fuel tank is off the reel mower.
