Schwinn occ questions

I had a few questions about my occ build:

1. Can you fit disk brakes on the front and rear tires w/out alot of mods

2. Can you fit a 5 speed hub and derailleur on the rear tire (I am thinking about installing a jackshaft kit on it)

1. front yes, rear not so much. the front will need new forks and a new wheel.

2. most likely not, there isn't much room in the rear for that. unless the bike came that way it wasn't meant to be a multi speed bike.

Not sure about the front disc but there are OCC front forks available with center pull brakes.

Yes many people have put a five speed cluster on the rear(simple project). I have many miles on my OCC 5 speed with integrated motor mount/jackshaft.

I have a thread or two about doing it.
