Okay with the 68 jet i am able to get a smoother WOT but i still am getting more pull at half throttle. i hit 32 on a long flat and the throttle feels real smooth. it has no hill power with the 36 but if i get going at like 20 25 it will hold 25 on a moderate hill

Finally got it to run smoothly, but my head bolt blew out. I guess it was over tightened, the 2nd and 4th bolt seem slightly stripped. Going to try to helicoil these.

I transplanted a stock 49cc ebay motor to replace the stripped head motor. Weak! I guess i need to break it in, but im sad. Its the end of an era of high speed goals and haphazard repairs, at least for a while. No mods. Just spring tensioner and 68 jet. Using a shorty plug from SBP i had laying around and 41t sprocket.

49 cc is running well. I just finished reassembling the 66cc reeded. It got a helicoil and SBP head studs. I will put this motor on another build and hopefully with an adequate mounting solution, be able to lower vibrations and keep this motor strong and speedy. 49/48cc makes 23mph and is quite enough for campus runs. Its kind of different though, running full throttle and getting up to top speed so quick and having to back off.

just started running with the strawberry oil. It smells great. Also added the 34T sprocket, ive got it running up to 28mph and it still pulls up hill. I ditched the layback seatpost, its too tall.

A racing buddy a few years ago used to run different "Flavors" of oil. I remember root beer and popcorn. I dont remember strawberry, that would probably smell better.

put on the torquer 2 pipe. its a nice pipe! real quiet, and much better than running open stock muffler. I had to take my offset intake off because the pipe runs up the right side and it would hit my carb, so now everything is a very tight fit. wish there was a short solution. to get my cabling and intake in an optimal position.

68 jet now that its broken in... its better, i was having hill problems and agonizing over what is going wrong... jet was too small. Now its got power to pull me up hills

I put on the locking gas cap today from pistonbikes, now i dont have to worry about people tampering with my gas, or spitting in my tank putting rocks or leaves in there if they are threatened by the coolness of my bike at school. Even though i try not to be to flamboyant with my kit, i always wonder since i wear a fullface if people are envious of my ride.

One cool thing i noticed is, the other day it was windy and my bike blew over. it sat like that for an hour and when i got back to it and picked it up, it didnt leak all the fuel out, and i was able to dust it off check everything over and ride home. Couldnt do that before.

Greased up everything i could think of on my bike, after a humid and rainy ride i felt there was a little friction and vibration. I used chain lube for my drive and pedal chain and automotive grease on my gears under the clutch plate. I recently greased the clutch lever and the ball and shaft that disengages the clutch. Man, this is probably the smoothest china ive run. If i could only go 35 on this with it running this smooth. My top speed still sits at 26.5mph.

It kills me though, because ive got a idler sprocket and smooth gears, my clutch engagement is nice and smooth, and the engine runs smooth. Ive got the torquer 2 pipe and 72 jet, I cant crank out 4 more miles per hour? I really do wish i could. I guess ill look around to see if anyone gets 30+mph out of the 50cc chinas. it gets up there pretty good and then it just runs out at 26. :(
