Schwinn Collegiate with engine??

Hello all,

Can I put a China Girl on this bike? The frame tubes are 1 inch. I also would love to know who sells the 2 stroke engine here in California or is will to ship to California.

You can definitely put a china engine kit on that bike, look for the one with the smaller mounts. The older kits all had them, not too sure about the new ones as a lot of them have a provision for the larger "modern" type frames.

While your hook'n up the Colligiate try putting on a set of Monark Forks the head tube(steering tube) is the right size and don't put that stupid looking tank on it that comes with the kit, either go to a lawn mower shop and get a tank that you can mount behind the seat or get one made, either go to Dan at www.taylarmotorbikes.com or go to Pat at Sportsman Flyer wich is advertised on the side of this forum page, I have one of Pats on my Cruiser,you can check out the astetics of the tank on my thread titled Ol' Blue pg8 on this forum site.
