Rubber sealed bearings

Are rubber sealed bearings ok to use on 2 stroke motors?

Performance wise there's little difference. The advantage of a rubber seal is it can be removed in order to add fresh grease. A metal seal is good where high heat is present. However; once dry they have to be relpaced.

If someone added grease as often as needed would they still dry out at some point, or is the grease enough to keep them from drying out?
